I have not been posting here at HKPS as much as I’d like to but I have been busy preparing for the inevitable hard times coming to America.
I hope my fellow Americans here on HKPS have been getting ready too.

With the current world situation, we here in America are about to experience something that hasn’t been seen before in our nation since it’s founding.

Food shortages, energy shortages, consumer goods shortages are all headed our way.
If you live in a densely populated area, plan on having somewhere else to go. Don’t go empty handed thinking you can pick up necessities at the store once you get there since most necessities will be unavailable once these hard times hit.

Stock up on long term food storage items, tools, medications, clothing, and of course water. Not to mention ways to protect your inventory and loved ones.

We will have about 3-5 days to implement our survival plans once these hard times befall us.

Get ready folks, it’s coming and it ain’t slowing down…

Preaching to the Pope of that church.......

Nobody [the public] listens. Good for them....more for me.

You're preaching to the choir.
Walmart {as much as I hate it}.....poultry section.

It's here, and as I told my wife.....hope you like squirrel and dumplings.
We hunt, fish, and I can cook just about anything I can kill. So....bring it.

My immediate family is on board. However I am concerned that my extended family is not listening to me. Such is life I suppose. I am doing as much prep as I can and I feel I am still lacking in other areas - time, I need time for some of the other things I want to complete. I am focused currently on necessity though so I guess thats a positive.

My wife and I have been seriously prepping since 2008. We bought a Large Harvestright Freeze dryer in 2016 and it’s only been off a couple of times since then. In fact, we had to purchase a 12’ X 24’ storage building to stock our long term food preps.
We live in rural south Arkansas where most folks here can the vegetables they grow each year in their gardens.
Right now, there is plenty of wild game we can harvest for meat but after a year or two with everyone hunting game for food, the game will disappear as it did in the 1920’s and early 30’s because it was the only food available during the depression.

Primitive tools will be needed too. Also, someone trained in medical care and trauma first aid will be needed. I thank God that my wife went to school to become a certified Family Herbalist about 10 years ago. She really helps our rural community with health needs now.

One can only prep so much. Limited funds and limited space for storage can be a real issue.

Rx's are limited to the insurance unless your willing to pay cash (At another pharmacy) and your doctor is willing to write additional scripts. (Without thinking your crazy - which can be an another issue).

Before Covid started I had stored N95 and other protection gear - so I was prepared for Covid (at least as much as I could have been).

It's called Darwinism. Sorry Bruh.

I prefer battlefield pickups. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Tony
Battlefield pick up is great, as long as it’s not your gear getting picked up.

How many folks have started a community militia/guard? How many have actually made plans and have ensured your neighbors are armed and willing to fight the “invaders?”

As an old Jarhead infantryman, I can tell you that just shooting your weapon does not equate to victory. Tactics, defense planning and building a team are just as important as putting back long term storage food.

And as for RX’s, there are herbal alternatives to ALL pharma drugs.

Get ready boys, it’s a coming and that ain’t no conspiracy… It’s a fact…

Shortages are and have been a real thing since Covid happened - Thanks Xi-jinping ( perhaps Xi played on 24 and was the BG that took Jack prisoner ;) )

If taking RX's for cancer, then I would prefer the actual Rx and not a herbal alternative (if available).

If taking RX's for ED:rolleyes:, then a Herbal alternative would be an option.

Parents taught me during the 70's (thanks James Earl) to purchase extra of the items you use when they are on Sale.

Having a ground well helps with the water situation. But I do purchase spring water for the coffee machine.:coffee:

Trading is always something to consider, but the things others will want - maybe the things you really need and can't afford to trade.

"Making" your own energy can be done (with Solar and Wind) if those are options for you.

Tough call. If you are going to make a stand on your property, you’ll need a lot of trigger pullers - and then you have to feed them all. If you hit the road, you better be the biggest badass on the block. And there will always be someone badder with even fewer scruples. Humanity will cease. Hope I never see it.

While I agree with most of your statements, I question your preference for pharma drugs to treat cancer. In 2009, I was diagnosed with high grade cancer. My best friend’s wife was too. I followed up with my diagnosis be following my wife’s herbal treatments for my cancer. My best Friend’s wife followed her doctor’s treatment protocol of chemo therapy and radiation treatments.
Sadly, my best friend’s wife passed away in 2019 from cancer. I’m still alive. So far, after 13 years of herbal treatment, I am still healthy for a 67 year old.

Indeed Ender. If you haven’t set up a defense force with the people of your community, you are absolutely correct.
We live over 100 miles from any city with a population greater than 50,000. The largest city near us has right 12,000 people in it and it’s over 30 miles away from us.
I doubt very seriously that “gangs” will be roaming in our neck of the woods in south Arkansas due to the fact that they won’t travel this far out in search of goods, especially if fuel is hard to come by then.
Another good thing about we’re I live is out of the 46 members of our community, 17 are veterans of the US military and we ALL understand what it will take to keep our small rural community safe.
Nearly 100% of us are peppers and have plans to defend our area and the means to do it, when that time comes.

Should have explained. Herbal Treatments along with Rx's would be fine - I know CTCA uses both.

I want the option of using an Rx - not a choice due too a shortage..

Not sure if this is good forum, but I wanted to post it. If you have any recommendations, I am always listening.
