The new build was going well until....

Checking in today...feeling better as far as the wound healing. Still got a headache/neck ache but I still have a knot on the top of my head.

I called my deputy buddies to file assault charges on my tool box but they said it would most likely a civil dispute over wages so I’m on my own lol

Hope to get back in the shop next Monday so I can start welding up that receiver and get the ball rolling on the build.
Glad you’re doing better.
the headaches and neck ache concerns me a bit. It would not hurt to have an mri done to be on the safe side.
you didn’t say anything about nausea or blurred vision, so that’s a good Sign.
take care and feel better brother!

The naseua I had was from seeing that much of my own blood not inside my body. The sight of blood never bothers me unless it’s a good bit of my own...and well there was enough of my own to warrant the feeling.

Headaches and neck pain are sadly normal for me as I was in a serious car accident Dec 30, 2013 (yes I remember it like it was yesterday) and the toolbox assault just aggravated it more than normal.

This weekend is the Thompson Collectors Assn show and shoot so I’ll be taking it easy. Should be back to working like normal in my shop come Monday.

Side note-my Dad had been in my shop and grabbed the shop-vac that was in the same spot where I was attacked. Thank god it was me that got hit and not him.

Thanks for the update. ;)

Done for the night. Hopefully I can put the mag release and paddle in plus the shelf. Gotta dress a few welds up then it should be ready for test fire.

Still working on my TiG skills and settings.

The head is feeling better after a week. Needless to say I was watching closer when I pulled out my welder lol

Finally finished it this morning. Took it out for test fire and I’m so sad with the results. Sad because I can’t keep it!!! The gun ran flawlessly right off the bat.....
