Threaded Barrel – HK USP .45, USP 45 Tactical back in stock at HKParts

It has been popping here and there, but until I place an order it is OOS already.
Of course, in every place where it was in stock, it was about $150 cheaper. No other place like that on the web.
 
HKParts is usually (not always) the most expensive place. I ordered a handful of green MK23 barrel orings and a few slide parts as they had them when others didn't but I always do research first.

He originally was offering it at $7000 and got ridiculed. It's now $5500.
Some thoughts:
  • Serial number is 25-100000 which is cool
  • It's been fired ~1500 rounds so used
  • Bag is missing the suppressor pouch - big issue in terms of collectability
  • Front sight not original
  • Price remains outrageous for a used USP with missing accessories.
 
That is too bad. For the $7000 original asking price I was hoping it would be a very early or pre production serial number.

It’s priced high because it’s a cool serial number and a OD green USP tactical with the case. Missing suppressor pocket, but still a dope collection piece. Colored frames were primarily limited to 500 per color of the .45 usp for full-size, tactical models, and Mark 23s iirc were made in 2003 with a later run of the grey frames for cali in 2015 or 16 I can’t remember but I’m sure someone else here knows exactly.
 
I didn't want to send the link because the seller in on here too and I felt bad (in hindsight) drawing attention to it.

With that said, I'm 99% sure it's priced the way it is because another green USP tactical package sold on GB for $6k (to someone in the industry with too much $) and the seller here figured his serial number was cooler. The seller was posting in the HKP thread talking about that GB sale and thinking of listing his because of it.

WOW! If one sold for $6k on GB the seller should list it on GB. I did not know one sold on there for that price (I just follow Mk23 sales). It is a cool serial number. I just thought $7k was a crazy price. It appears it isn't. I have paid some crazy prices for specific items lately too so I am not judging.

I don't know what the trend on GB for these is, but a single sale on there doesn't mean the next seller is going to get that.

I want to find that other HKP thread. You can see perfectly how this all played out.

I was going to post your LAM listings and find out but the guy I am buying the camo case from hasn't shipped it yet... :confused:
 
Is that not allowed here? I’m sure I’ve done it at least once, so apologies if so. I know some boards allow it, some don’t.

There’s not enough history to really know. Especially right now.

Speaking for myself, I wouldn't have an issue with it as a mod over there (the most junior one at that). I can't speak for the other staff. I can't imagine anyone having concerns with cross-pollination of knowledge.
