USMC M27 - Fresh from Black Ops Defense

My new USMC M27. Just got it back from Black Ops Defense. It is a combination of STS lower and HK MR556 converted to the M27. I am well pleased with the outcome. Wes had a lot of patience working with me and answering all of my questions. I want to give a thanks to @wespritts and to @Specialized Tactical for helping me bring this together.

Thanks Tony. After much deliberation I decided to move forward with the build and am well pleased with how it turned out. My son and I took it to the range today. It performed as wells as it looks.

Once STS figures out how to get my lower to line up with my upper both are headed to Black Opps for the M27 treatrment

@Boba Debt they will sort everything out. I have purchased multi from STS and had BOD work on several for me. Normally it just takes patience and it all turns out well.

Rob at STS received my receiver set and quickly determined that the Cerakote was the issue

Since I'm sending it to Black Ops for anodizing it shouldn't be an issue once the Cerakote is stripped off

I have my fingers crossed that they diagnosed the issue correctly

I'll know for sure in a week or so once Black Ops strips the receiver for anodizing

I just sent them my MR556 upper for a 10.5 barrel chop and gas block mod.
