Rather hoping some of you can advise. HK has a fast twist 1 in 10 vs std 1 in 16 for 45acp. This leads me to believe that a 230 will group better than a 185 JHP. Would traditional accuracy loads ie Bullseye / NM Hardball 4.3grs VVN-310 / 185 Zero JHP, 5.0BE / 230 Sierra Ball work? How about traditional cast SWC, hardball alloy. Have seen coated lead being used. Reason being I shoot 2700 Outdoor & have bunch loaded up for the BE & CMP 1911's. With the USP being designed around +P level loads would hotter be the ticket?

Since I was not able to get an answer on any HK forum. Twist rate on both the 45acp Expert & Elite is 1 in 406mm or 1 in 15.98". So, in theory loads that shoot/ score well from a 1 in 16" 1911, should do well with an HK. If true, then the 185 JHP from Nosler, Zero, Hornady or Sierra ought to shoot.
