S&W SD9 FDE

Came across this S&W SD9 FDE @ The Super Pawn S&S Brothers in Jeffersonville Indiana Friday
My Last Five handguns came from Here including the two Hk USP Compact 40s

Price on the SD9 FDE was $284.99 = $305 with tax & It's NEW minus the box & cable lock
I was looking at a Beat Down Glock 19X for $519.99 & Here was this NEW S&W sitting right next to it
My New Truck Gun.. It just got it's 1st Lubrication + TW-25B & Loaded for the 1st Time
The magazine followers are white & would have marks if ever loaded See Picture
Whomever had it must have bought it during the pandemic & just kept it around unloaded
I removed the striker & ran a Q-Tip in the hole & it was 100% Clean
It has 16+1 capacity & is striker fired & Very Glock Like, It's Trigger is more DAO & Feels OK To Me
From what I Can Ascertain These Started as The Sigma Then The SW9, Then SW9VE & Then the SD9
It's trigger is Just Like my 9mm Shield 2.0 & has very AGGressive texturing & checkering unlike the original Sigma

And the Bous Is The USP Full Size Gould & Goodrich Thumb Break Holster I have been trying to give away on Pay it Forward Here Fit's this gun 100%
Almost like it's made for it other than the magazine slide stop release lever & The way the Hk is cut for it's magazine release

BONUS OH YEAH!!

This only happened because of me being Pissed That I Missed out on the 357 SIG P2000
Still Kicking Myself for not putting that on layaway.. Damn It!!

Every Leather USP & USPC Holster I have will work with this handgun perfect other than the slide release lever & magazine release which are both different
The Sigma used to even have the proprietary rail just like these early HKs as well
Looks like S&W had so many variants of this pistol it would take a long time to document them all

Went bye a Pawn Shop in Louisville this morning & they had SD9VEs & SD40VEs for $399ea USED
$285 I Paid sounded GREAT after seeing that
I looked behind the counter & saw a case with several different gun manufacturers names & one was marked S&W & asked to see what was inside.. Magazines..
In the Smith & Wesson drawer hey had SW9 SD9 & SD40 + some unknown double stack 45 magazines
No H&K, Lots of Glock
Bought one of the SD9 magazines for $28 which is all but new
I will NOTE: that all three I have now have an H on the magazine body, Wonder WHO Made them

Thought about selling this S&W SD9 BUT Now think it's a Keeper & may spend the $55 on a APEX Trigger + Spring Kit
It's the only Double stack 9mm I currently own & $285 cost + extra magazine

Got me a new RED WHITE & BLUE neck scarf face mask today

The Real reason we went to that Pawn Shop today was to get my youngest Son another Guitar as a Christmas Gift to Himself
He put it on layaway 4-5 weeks ago
It's a B.C. Rich Eagle
He's been Rocking on it all day, He's asleep now as He works 3rd shift tonight
Here's the B.C. Rich, Only needed a strap button & screw, I have a whole jar full of them
Took five minutes to fix it up 100%
