Well, is it perfect? No but I'm happy. Not a whole lot of clean up on the inside is going to be required. I want it to be obvious that I welded the magwell on. ;)
Almost there. This is a ton of work! I know the fit doesn't look that great. The receiver is sprung outwards about .030, I need to clamp it in the vice to tack it. The fit is a lot better then :)
LoL. That's my plan. I've never done something like that before but I'm going to give it a shot, I mean what could possibly go wrong? 😂
The push pin hole will be welded closed before the magwell goes anywhere close to the flat!
I've just been notching a regular plate. I get 3 or 4k before it breaks. Mine dose act up a little with the busted plate. I bought another German bolt for mine, Then bought the stuff to build another gun 😇 twice now 😃
I hear ya there. My MP5K is a SW gun, I knew the risk when I bought it. It was the going out of business sale. I have to say I got a good one. I bet I have over 40k rounds threw it with the sear in it. I've broken (1) firing pin 3 or 4 roller retainer plates and gone threw a couple extractor...
LoL. I was a vendor at a local machine gun shoot. Thousands of rounds over the weekend. Rarely did I ever clean anything. The 51K was my money maker. I could tell when it was time to add oil, it would slow down. :ROFLMAO:
