A P7 that shoots .22 shorts and pellets

Here is an interesting P7. This was designed for German law enforcement agencies who did not have access to shooting ranges that could accommodate large bore weapons. It has a .22 barrel and cartridges that allow it to shoot .22 shorts or pellets. The .22 shorts fit into a cartridge which...

    Does anybody remember .......

I remember back on January 1st 2020 when gas was $1.98 a gallon and a box of 50 rounds of 9MM FMJ was $10 a box. It seems like those days are long gone.

    WTB HK P7M13 box

The P7M8s went into production in 1983 and were originally shipped in the smaller plastic P7 box. The P7M13s went into production in 1984 and were originally shipped in cardboard boxes because they would not fit in the smaller plastic P7 boxes. HK made a new larger universal box for the P7...

    WTB HK P7M13 box

In 1987 (IH), but that was for the P7M8s not the the P7M13s. The P7M8s started out in the smaller plastic boxes and then went to the larger plastic boxes in 1987.

    WTB HK P7M13 box

Just looked through my stash and I don’t have any spares. Here is a picture showing the difference between the first year (1984) cardboard box (bottom box) and the (1985-1986) dark gray box (top).

    WTB HK P7M13 box

I saw post #2, but could not figure out how you knew that from the limited information from the original post. A 1986 P7 M13 would have come in the dark Gray box. I will have to go look through my stash and see what I have.

    WTB HK P7M13 box

I have a manual, scraper and brush. There are five variations of the P7M13 box. The first one was a black cardboard box that came with the IE date code pistols. The second is a dark gray box that came with the IF and IG pistols. The next box Is a black plastic box that says “W Germany” under the...

Inflation is at an alarming rate. I wonder how much time it will take until his asking price becomes reasonable?

    HK94A3 003 (NIB)

I talked to the seller a few days ago when I saw it listed. He is asking $75,000, but said he would take $70,000. He told me that he recently turned down an offer of $65,000 which I find hard to believe. I was very interested in this piece and would have paid up to $12k, but $70,000 is...

Very nice! BTW, those wood grips with the HK logo are highly desirable and very hard to find.

    HK P7E on Gunbroker

Not mine, but I do own one. There were supposedly 150 of these P7E’s made, but know serial data suggest only 127 were made. These were specifically made/imported for those who did not like the M series (P7M8, P7M10 and P7M13) that we “Mericans” usually prefer. The “E” stands for “European”...

I spoke with the seller. He is not really interested in selling it. He is trying to trade it for other extremely rare HK items.

HK P7M8 Jubilee with low serial

There is a P7M8 Jubilee with low two digit serial for sale on Gunbroker. These would typically sell in the $9-10k range back before prices for gas and others things got out of control. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/929417411

    HK P7M10 (Blued)

ONLY the Blued KD date code P7M10s with standard Sterling VA roll marks (Not silver stenciled like the “CAT-7454”) with serials higher than 021-24XX would have been shipped with the Tan boxes like that. The White/light Gray box shown in the above post would have come with the Blued KD date code...

    Factory Nickel P7 on Gunbroker

Just to be clear because the is NOT. That is a P7, NOT a P7M10. The Nickel M10s are more plentiful then a factory Nickel P7 like the one shown in the pictures.

    Factory Nickel P7 on Gunbroker

The most common factory Nickel P7 variant is the M10. You are correct, there were more Nickel M10s then Blued. The M13 is the next most common followed by the M8 then the P7 like the one listed above followed by the P7M7 if you count that. I know I used the word “common”, but keep in mind that...
