2022 MP5 MAGPUL

New for 2022 and won’t be on the market until 2024......still waiting for a couple braces and drums from them.
But they sure do crank out useless sh!t like sunglasses, caps, t-shirts & hoodies. Ya know "essential" equipment. I think Magpul has reached its prime....not much steam in the innovation engine.

Add me to the list of pissed off fanbois losing patience with the brand.

Availability of parts from them is embarrassing. And what makes it much worse is the attitude they have towards us customers. Their arrogance is palpable whenever you communicate with them directly.

I get the impression that within their corporate HQ the culture there is full of elitist a-holes.

The audacity to keep announcing products when they cant even catch up to their 2020 releases.

Interesting that they’ll make a stock for such a limited market (NFA) and still wont develop a magazine.
Maybe they see just how many SP5L's are flying off the shelves 🤪

It would be nice if they would make one for my Remington 870 DM Tactical - idiots.

I’m one of those elitist assholes with machine guns who enjoys sharing them with people who can’t afford them as I’m lucky to have been able to purchase them.
But the fact that you have them and SHARE them for others enjoyment takes you out of that sector of folks
😎😎🤙🏻🤙🏻😉😉
I also think that its a way of life, not just cuz one owns a MG. Humility, friendliness and being humble to others.

I bought my first machine gun back in 1979 when I got back from overseas duty as a Marine. It was a Cobray MAC10 .45 I paid $175.00 for the Mac and $200 for the stamp. My next machine gun was bought bought in 1983 after I got out of the Marines and it was a Colt CAR SP1. I paid $590 for it plus the $200 tax. My first MP5 was bought from Tim Smith of Tim's Guns and Indoor Range out of Winter Haven Florida in 1999. It cost me $2,800 plus the $200 tax.
I still have all of them, plus a couple more.

Was at the range and saw a dad and his 2 sons eying my mp5k. He came over and commented on it so of course I handed it to him with a full mag. Absolutely made his day.

Very cool!! Educating others on the things they have no knowledge of (MGs and NFA items in this case) only helps our hobby survive.

I like that a large, quality manufacturer is making accessories for the MP5 platform. Looks are always subjective of course. At least the quality of their polymer as well as design and construction of most of their products is usually good. I am all for anything that keeps this platform on the market for at least another 60yrs! ;)

That is, if they can stop releasing new t-shirts long enough to keep their product release times below freakin 12+ months.

Today’s SHOT show announcement....

A new DAKA bag & Pro 700 chassis.

Cool stuff no doubt. But i think we’d all be happier if they just announced that the mp5 drum was gonna be available after how many years of waiting?

There’s a joke about HK hating their customers. I think Magpul deserves the same ridicule. Must be something about high quality companies in this industry.
