2022 MP5 MAGPUL

The polymer MP5 mags RTG sells aren’t bad. I bought a 30 and 40 to try and so far they have held up well.

I have no issues laying out the case that MagPul is good at “showcasing new product” but when we go to order it, it’s never there. Maybe there should be a rule for SHOT Show or the NRA Show-if you “release” a new product, then it must be on the market within 3-6 months, not a limited market share to drive up prices, but full market or your booth costs more the next time.

LWRC did the same thing with the 45 caliber AR SMG platform. Brag it up then it disappears for over 18 months due to it having epic failures. Once they got it “fixed” it was then released into the wild....and those guns typically still have issues.

Magpul’s social media now is trolling the fact that their consumers are bummed that product announcements are just hollow hype.

The audacity is pretty thick.

Imagine you work incredibly hard to build a brand as strong as Magpul’s. And then once you reach the mountain top you take pleasure in schitting all over your fans.

WOW, that's some amateur level social posting. In hindsight, and the more I think about it, screw that company.

oh jeeze, MAGPUL still doesn't have a drum whimper, whimper, snivel, snivel, boo-hoo..😢..........well, if any of you guys want a drum for the MP5.........BETA CO. makes a 100 round drum for the MP5, so there is that. a company called F5MFG makes a 50 round metal drum.

the other alternative is to make a 70 drum for yourself, by using a SUOMI drum and cut MP5 mag for the feed tower. make the feed tower a single stack, then weld it on top of the drum......it's what I did, except I didn't weld it, I use J-B WELD and metal braces on either side of the feed tower, used screws on the top of the drum :). that feed tower is "rock solid" on there, just like it was conventionally welded on the drum

you're welcome. glad I was able to help :)

tHinKing there is another company that kinda does that to us to a degree.
😂😂😂😂

I will say, I think, magpul would prolly score some recovery points if they would produce furniture in their MCT color.

I have asked em and pretty much got the "nah we aint doin that" type response.

They announced a polymer dust cover today. Something I’d actually like to buy.

Hopefully it’s available by 2025.

Yep, saw that. My first thought was they probably realized "dude while we been making shirts and caps Strike industries and UTG totally scored on easy to install polymer EJP covers, dang it!!"

Lolololol...

Today’s announcement was to announce that the gun they announced a year ago would be released a year from now. 15 years after the original announcement.

That said, I’ll be in line to buy one. After it is inevitably delayed 5 times.
