This Wednesday my twin Brother & I turn 55..
I'll pickup a cake but can't do much..
Maybe go shooting in the forestry..
Gary & Jerry turn the big 55

My Sister Donna & My Parents Pat & Bob..
We are now the oldest in the family, Everyone else has passed..

Congratulations and a very Happy Birthday to you and your brother :)--- losing family members is hard. :(
If y'all were closer to me, then I would take you both out for a birthday supper to celebrate. ;)

I miss my parents & my sister, My older brother I cropped out of the photo.. I don't miss him.. At All..
He died on Thanksgiving Day.. Oh Boo Hoo! Yeah Right..
Had almost forgotten how pretty my sister was, She died a few years after that photo of Cancer, She had a kidney transplant from my Pop.
I was maybe 12 in that picture..
We were a good looking pair.. Were.. Need to shave this white santa clause beard off.. Keep thinking of Sheep.. Think Truth Surge
I'll put a video link up in the music thread of Truth Surge, That old guy can belt it out like Ronnie James Dio..

Families are pretty much alike--- I miss my parents and next oldest brother (lost also to cancer) dearly. :(

Happy Birthday Gary. I'm originally from Louisville but spent a lot of time growing up in Clarksville. My dad is a truck driver (retired now), but we owned a piece of property on 31 just north of the infamous drive in. He sold the property several years ago. My younger brother runs a trucking terminal just up the road from there now called Ruan Transportation.
 
That place is next too the now closed Far Out Music & across from 84 Lumber
IIRC The Hoke's owned that property..
I've lived in Clarksville/Louisville my whole life = 55 years tomorrow.
Know just about everybody from when I managed WIP Import Auto & Auto Zone in Clarksville
 
I've been gone for the most part since 87 when I joined the Army. Was back home in 96 til 02 when I was transferred with the railroad to Indy. Im not sure who owned the property south of ours, but our property was right next to Estes Tank lines, it was part of where the medical plaza is now. I grew up on the east end of Louisville in Middletown and went to Eastern High School.

Just Going to Order a Grub Hub up on the tablet around noon so I don't have to go out again
Hasn't started snowing here yet.. It's on it's way.. 1-3" Possible today/tonight
Going to go cover the VWs windshield.. Wishing it was a BMW or Mercedes..

Might ride up the street later to a few Pawn Shops looking for bargains & goodies
They are getting harder to find all the time with all these new gun buyers around
Newbies seem to always buy a Taurus.. Most have never even heard of Heckler & Koch
But they all know what a Smith & Wesson is..

youre right about the new buyers... Taurus and knows S&W but never heard of HK.
a Friend of mine has a M&P on a belt clip. He wants a Glock for his wife, so I put a USPc in his hands and had him fire a mag down range. Now his world has been turned upside down and wants me to find a HK for his wife... sometimes thats all it takes!!!
