We had to put our Fuzzy-Girl down tonight. She was 14 1/2, and we would have had her 5 years on April 1st [she was 9 1/2 when I got her]. I rescued her from Zanesville Ohio. She was the most stubborn Husky we've rescued over the last 35 years.
She was wonderful, and definitely had the Alpha mentality. She also didn't want another fuzzy room-mate. She's been thru an awful lot over the last 2 years, and it was time to let her be in peace. She was the oldest we've rescued, and had the shortest amount of time. That had no bearing on the impact she had on us. She was wonderful. Anyways, she passed very peacefully, and we'll miss her tremendously. On the way home, I stopped for a double of Vodka, for our Siberian. We love you Mishka, and will miss you, something terrible.
