So what do you guys use to clean the insides of your 9X rifle receiver?
There's all sorts of nooks and crannies in/around the trunion. My rifles are shamefully dirty.
I reach what I can with a rag or a small brush then hose it down with WD40 and blast it with compressed air.
There's got to be a better way. A specific brush that does a bang-up job? Something?
Thanks

You're on the right track, but don't overthink it. :)
Birchwood Casey Barricade, a new toothbrush, and a can of compressed air. ;)

what I use to clean the chamber is a .45 bore brush or a M16/AR chamber brush for the HK91, then I blast with BRAKE CLEANER, to get the gunk out of it. and with the straw attached to the spray button, you can get in those tight places around the trunnion, the cleaner dries in a few seconds so there is no need to go with a rag etc... dry it. then I spray the entire inside of the receiver, then I put a period at the end of it, because I'm done cleaning it :)

time it takes to clean my gun, I would say less then 4 minutes.

you're welcome, glad I could help you :)
