I ordered an NOS Cetme grip frame and sent it to Jeff while he was building my G3K. I asked him to do the Clip & Pin mod to it while he was doing the same to the good gun.
He refused. I got a little butt-hurt. I begged, Nope, he wouldn't do it. I got even more annoyed when he posted his own Cetme build thread last week.
I decided I would do it myself today and learned why he doesn't work on them.
The problem wasn't the Spanish grip frame IMHO as much as the Century rifle I spent FOUR HOURS HAND FITTING IT TO!
Rolls Royce body men dont spend this much time on such a small piece of metal. What a PITA. The welds attaching the semi shelf to the receiver were terrible.
I swear they used a stick welder to attach it and I dont think the shelf was centered on the receiver.

It fits. I'm taking it to the range tomorrow morning to try it out...along with the K
I'm sorry Jeff, I'll never doubt you again!

ETA: Yes, I will eventually repaint everything.

A lot of people do not understand it's more about having issues with the gun and not the actual clipping of the lower. The fitting has to be done with the lower and the gun and the gun and it's just something we don't offer. cetme have lots of issues as it is adding one more would not be good

I tried to solder the pin pieces to the frame but couldn't get it clean enough.
I can sweat copper pipe so I thought I could sweat the pins to finish the job.
I got a little blob on each piece but will probably end up epoxying them.

Epoxy will work. You can tig the clipped pins from the back side too but ONLY on metal grip frames.

When I did my cetme c&p on a surplus original ,I used two modified wood screws as the pins. They are held in place with some jb weld.
