Thinking about buying a vertical fore-grip for my clone.
Can anyone recommend one? One that looks most correct?
TIA

I agree with @AGG that the HK VFG looks most "correct" on a UMP (or clone). The first picture of a UMP I ever saw, it was actually wearing a Magpul VFG (like in my link below). So that became "correct" in my mind. I'll tell you thought, before investing in a HK VFG (there are clones of that too) - if you have not used one - I would recommend a cheaper option first to ensure you actually like using a VFG with a UMP. I found the recoil impulse to be such that the VFG didn't allow me optimal control of the gun. I ended up removing it, removing all the rails and gripping the forend of the gun similar to an AR. I found I could not only control the recoil impulse better than before, but I could direct the gun to the next target faster than with the VFG. All that said, the VFG looks cooler!

Magpul Rail Vertical Grip (RVG)
The Magpul Rail Vertical Grip (RVG) is the perfect foregrip for improving the control of your AR-15, AR-10, or any gun with a bottom rail on the front end.www.wingtactical.com
That looks sharp, but I wonder if its too far forward. I usually like at least 1 to 2 inches from the front.
I haven't shot it this way yet but it feels fine while I'm running around the house with it, taking cover behind the couch, going "pew pew pew".
