Expert still made, imported?

I don't see it on the HK site, but I do see dealers selling them, so I was wondering if it is something unlisted by HK or direct imported by a third-party? I thought they had been discontinued years ago until I started to see folks mentioning buying them apparently new.

The Expert is generally made in small batches.
I have seen the 9mm and .45ACP (HKI-Columbus) as late as CC (2022).

I've been looking for A USP Expert 40 AND a USP 40 Tactical with zero luck the past few weeks (months?)

still cannot find either of these

and I would pay top dollar for either (both?)

The .40 Expert is the hardest one to find, but they’re out there. Keep checking GB and im sure something will pop up eventually.
You can also post in the WTB…

I found my last USP45 Expert on Guns America and did pay a bit for it. Had one on order with an HK direct dealer for two+ years and didn't get one that way.

I've got to update my post.

I did find both the EXPERT (2 of them) and the TACTICAL (2 of them) - BOTH IN 40!

so my search is over

a lot of patience and a little luck - just keep looking...

took me eight months and several 'false finds' but eventually I got what I was looking for

I wish every one else the same luck

just keep looking!

Not feeling FDE in anything, but even the basic black is cheaper than I paid - will take a look at these guys next time though it seems their Achilles heel is inventory since they have around a two-week lead time.

I have an Expert 40, as my nightstand gun. It gets more movement in and out of the safe...than having been shot. I bought it new, sold it to a guy...he ended up needing cash, and I bought it back.
