HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I forgot to tell everyone to try an take it easy
Put your eatin pants on & tear it a new one

I baked a 10lb Ham yesterday with all the fixins & today am gonna bake a 15lb Turkey
Had fried ham & rolls for breakfast as my son came in from Kroger this morning
The Turkey will get prepared in the next half an hour or so & will take a nap as it bakes
Been up since 4:30am when one of the dogs started barking

Lots of people have medical issues on Thanksgiving from over eating

I'm so angry at myself
Only have one pair of pants that I can wear now
Went from 28" to 38" Now
Need a new belt & some pants for Christmas
I could just stop eating

If anyone has some 38"x 32" pants or 38" belt LMK

I SMELL SOMETHING FANTASTIC
Going to Have a Look in the Oven NOW!!

Looked like an AK to me.

Only one I ever had was a MAK-90 Norinco & a half dozen SKSs all Norinco & $69ea
$300 back then for the MAK-90 & worth $1200 now.. CRAZY!!
Also had a SKS-M that took AK magazines = $200

I have eaten four times today
Turkey, ham, stuffing, smashed potatoes, broccoli casserole, cranberry sauce, PIE, CAKE..
Blood Sugar is HIGH & Need another nap..

I started the cooking around 8:15am & lunch was served @ 1:00pm
Had fried ham & rolls for breakfast = Left Overs from yesterdays Feast

Wife has been sick but is feeling a bit better now & just got her 1st servings @ 11:00pm

The second year we were married, I got assigned to Camp Lejeune. The wife got a job at the Naval Hospital as a social worker, which included protective services and temp placement for abused spouses. We started getting a few 2:00am phone calls with “You took my wife away, I’m gonna get you, bitch!”

Her folks came to visit that Christmas, and her Dad, a WWII infantryman just about $hit when she opened a nice gift wrapped box with a Beretta model 84 in .380ACP. I got her hooked up with the Sheriff’s & Provost’s office to qualify and get a permit. Forty years later, it’s still her nightstand gun. 👍
 
I caught the bug now
When I get the flu or a virus my Blood Sugar goes hay wire
@ 4:00am mine was 71 & @ 8:00 it was 325 with no food in between
I just took all my meds & starting to feel better = Insulin X 2 & heart meds etc
Gonna have a Turkey Sandwich for breakfast
