Nothing were as material, machinery, and time intensive to build as the pre-ban SIG, HK, and higher-end stuff....nor as nice to look at. However, I believe modern incarnations of the M16 and AK47 will be around for far longer. It's a combo of weight, cost, and efficiency. It would seem that art has far less importance in a techy-world.
