I have a bunch of straight mags and the fed just as well as the curved one, ie. no jams, no misfeeds............a guy I know that has a full auto MP5 and just for $hits and giggle I had him shoot a couple of them in his, and they fed without issue.

seems the hate for straight mags is they aren't "sexy" as curved mags

The feeding issues on the straight magazines dealt with worn out parts, secondary to age and lack of maintenance, as the internal parts of both types of magazines are different. :)
Also, it could be caused by someone trying to use curved parts in straight magazines, and improperly modifying the magazine springs at the top loops. :unsure:
I like straight magazines--- they have that cool, old-school look. ;)
