Love me some P9 series pistols.

Only got two, an IA 9mm and a IF .45 (from Lamont a while back). I like the wood better on the .45 and the plastic on the 9mm; it just feels better that way. Urban Carry makes a Lock Leather OWB holster that fits either pistol. Holsters were getting hard to find and in winter, I’ll carry either one interchangeably.

If anyone has a hard on for a P9S suppressor host with an actual threaded barrel (not the adapter added) I'm pretty sure one will be appearing on GB later today....... ;-)

Cool. That's what I did. I came across 3 NOS Sport Group barrels. Cut, thread, have fun.

I've never shot better with an outta the box pistol. LOVE the trigger and accuracy. It's also a great silencer platform.View attachment 116View attachment 117
I realize that this is an older thread but hope someone can respond and help me out. I just acquired an early production P9S from 1971. It is missing the manual and I’d like to get one to complete the set as it comes with the box and spare mag. Is the correct manual the ones shown in your photo with the brown background or is the the more commonly seen manual with the red background? Please let me know if anyone knows the difference. Thanks!

For a '71 it would be the earlier manual with as you say, the brown background. These manuals are all dated, there are numerous dates for the later red background. Obviously for a later P9S you would want a manual that was printed before the pistol was produced, not later as that would be "incorrect".

Based upon what I have seen, the P9S German brown manual would be correct for a 1971 P9S. :)
I have one new, dated 1970--- PM to you. ;)
