MARS CETME (Wood Forearm)

It’s a nice example but the starting bid ($4500) is the top of the market for those IMO...we’ll see 🤷‍♂️ I’ve never seen the pre-ban market more all over the place than it’s been lately.

I agree with your valuation on this particular rifle. :)
The pre-89 market does seem to fluctuate, depending upon what is hot, and what is not. ;)

Personally I think that is bad strategy to sell a rifle: better to just start at a dollar & put a reserve. Once you bid, you get frequent reminders - keeps the item on a buyer’s mind. Maybe it would not get to $4500. Rock Island had one go higher recently.

$5520 with fees & buyer’s premium

Not really for the rarity of the rifle, especially with the metal forearm/bipod. ;)

- imported 03-11-65/02-18-71 (late 1960’s/B-Series, C-Series and some S-Series; early 1970’s/S-Series)
- 1,258 U.S. importation (B-Series and C-Series/4 (3 and 1), and S-Series/1,254- 854 pre-68/400 post-68)

However, only seeing S-02102-S-02729, I believe that only the 854 (or less) were actually imported.

Fans of history, it's the granddaddy (in semi) of the rollerlocks

not to be confused with century arms kit guns
