Prepping a huge Loin for the crock pot for lunch
Listening to the Burl Ives Holy Jolly Christmas Album
Understand when I was a kid that was the only Christmas album we had on vinyl

I ask for which ever God you pray to to watch over you and yours. As well as watch over those that watch over us and provide us with the ability and protection to celebrate however we choose.

I worked the streets on patrol for 14 years....find a reason to go by your house, see your kids, parents, wife, husband. Find a reason to stop by the locations you know on your beat where you can provide someone that is lonely a little company, a meal or a coffee. I also remember all my Christmas' deployed so band together in your fighting hole or the barracks and create great memories you will always remember.
