Boomer here. Just celebrated my 64th birthday last month and have always wanted to find a magazine that is as old as I am that I can proudly display in the mancave. I finally found a nice steel magazine on GunBroker that arrived today; marked G3 HK 1/62. Thinking I might have to load up some ammo in this old gal and let 'er sing. Any of you guys ever do this?

Load it up and enjoy a mag or two out of it.

Then gut it and load it up with long stem q-tips on your gun bench in your mancave for gun cleaning...

Great idea.
With a steel mag, a magnet would hold it upright to the side of a metal cabinet/shelf/etc...

Congrats! Always a great feeling when you get to check off a box!
