I saw this pop up on Gunbroker earlier today. I have a P7M8 Jubilee that is missing it’s display case so I had a friend of mine (Charlies Old Pawn) who has an FFL hit the “Buy It Now”. The seller responded to my friend (COP) with something on the line of “Thank you for the purchase of the box, But the grips are not included”. The seller (Richard Boyle( said that he didn’t realize that the grips were in the pictures. I told my friend Charlie that is BS because the grips AND the box are centered in the pics. It’s not like the box was the center of the pictures and the grips were in the background. The grips are worth roughly $180. I am going to give the seller the option of including the grips OR he can keep them and subtract $180 from the total. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is the s the link.

I mean.....seriously????!!! The guy has two (2) pics, well the reality is, it's the same pic twice,
and it's not like they were in the corner of the pic.

In short, I concur with your assessment. I mean the challenge coin is in the pic also. Is that also excluded?
Yeah.....I'd deduct or they're included.

Cheers and good luck!!!!!

The seller doesn't mention the grips only the box and coin in the title. In the description he only mentions the box. Asking questions avoids headaches...

PS..... All of this auctions look like a headaches..

For that price don't I get all of the bananas??

I'm going to agree--- no mention of grips in the title or description. ;)
Always ask questions, if one is not certain as to what is included. :)
Sloppy (or intentionally misleading) picture.

I think the picture is intentionally misleading. Yes, it is not mentioned anywhere else in the add nor in the title, so why include it in the pics?
Yes, you should have asked if the grips were included… but I still think it was intentionally misleading.

The sellers ad reminds me of automotive advertising. They show you the top of the line model and say pricing starts at $39k and in the fine print say the model shown is $75k. Except there is no fine print in his ad. Intentionally misleading and deceptive if you ask me.

Never attribute to malicious intent that which can be easily described by something else a lot less complicated that doesn't require people to be clever or work hard enough to simulate it for short periods of time. Like stupidity.

That title is a fucking English teachers nightmare. The description little better. We all know the standard of "if it's in the pics".....I don't know that this guys does.....my listings always say "Please see pics which form a portion of the description". This one doesn't mention the grips in the title or the listing.

You could split the difference. Basically he sells them to you for $90 because there is a case to made that they could have very reasonably been seen as part of the auction because they were so obviously in the picture.
