My name is Chad, my wife and I own Carolina Laser Works. I have been into HKs for many years and actually just stumbled onto the forum out of luck.

If you are into Laser Engraving there is something I was thinking about..
Laser Engraving a logo onto a pocket knife blade
Would imagine that every metal is different
I'm thinking a possible HkProShop Logo
Now to first work up a decent looking logo without violating any trademarks of Heckler & Koch H&K Hk Bass Pro Shop etc.
This not my specialty but would guess that someone here is the master of it..
Moderators Please excuse me if I'm stepping on you're ideas or toes..

Chad have you tried etching/engraving polymers?
I was thinking out loud about some SIG P365 frames I saw Bruce Gray have on his website.
I've seen some Glocks ruined by someone trying this process too..

Polymers can be tricky, but not terribly difficult. The main thing that usually happens is they use the wrong laser or even frequency settings. A standard fiber laser is really bad on polymer. Lasers that have a higher frequency (extended range fiber lasers) work the best on the vast majority of polymers.

I bet you could do a tattoo with a laser IF you could hold still & take the pain
Look like burn till it heals..
I won't be trying it..
But yeah we do need to come up with a logo for the forum & pay Chad to make up something..
It just sounds like something that should be done

Have a long time Buddy who has a 69 Dodge Charger RT with a 440 Magnum w/ Carter AVS IIRC
It'll go 180+, It has a factory sunroof & is quite rare.. He paid $300 for it back in the day..
I painted it for him in 1983, Still looks good too.. Might be worth $50,000+ Charger Red or Hemi Orange??

Gonna work on the avatar it was just a picture of an Hk magazine loader, Needs to be the right size to center it up right.
A work in progress.. Now lets talk about something important = Lunch!!

The factory color was Charger Red & it also could have come Hemi Orange like the General Lee was/is.. Huge Long Car Too!!
Has a black strip across the rear area that is marked RT = Road & Track & a Black landoue vinyl top area & a factory electric sun roof
It has four wheel drum brakes that fade like crazy when you apply them @ 180mph you have to pump & release to allow the drums to cool
My bud ended up putting a high rise dual four barreled intake etc etc but it always ran better with the Carter AFB/AVS as it came.. It's Over Carbureted
He found an extra hood that he slaughtered to allow the huge set of carbs to hang out of with a tunnel ram & air cleaners.
