Ordered the compact USP's, as soon as I heard about them. Our one local dealer, always seemed to get the earliest HK's I'd ever seen.
My wife still has her early EDC compact. I had one in 40 with a lower serial number, but sold it. Stupid....I bought another, after trying all sorts of other stuff.

Excellent pistol. I bought 2 of the KD's new. I put a deposit on one, and waited till they were released. I still have one of them. My first HK pistol. Did your pistol get the updated/captive recoil spring?

I didn't either. I figured it would be worth more, untouched from original design. I had a jet-funnel on mine for about a month....and was like WTF?? Leave it alone.

So my first P8A1. Been wanting this for awhile... traded a S&W model 29-2 in a wooden display case for this unfired beauty With 3 mags.
@Hk-USPC-40 following your advice on the HK Diet!!!

I also picked this USP 9mm up.
Now if I can find a USP 9mm full size with a Stainless Slide.. “KG” for a decent price, then I will be set!!!

The guy I got it from Purchased it from the Attic on GB. It was imported by them “TAI Minot ND”.
Its engraved on the bottom of the magwel, but you can barely see it. I had to take a pic and magnify it to see it.

So nice, excellent example! I love how unobtrusive they are with their import markings. They do it right. Like you said, really have to look for it. They are creative.

I really had to look for it... even with my glasses on I could barely see it!!!
I saw that Elite and the markings... when I couldn’t find it on mine I went to the site to try and see where they would put it!
