Hello everyone. Most don't know me and the others probably do not remember me, but a while back i was constantly on HKP. People on FB had invited me back, after i had mentioned being away for so long. Said that things had changed and i should check it out. Seems like the exact things i left over all those years ago just came to a head recently. Shame.

A while back i had ended being a participating member due to the increasing amount of disrespect from some low level moderators, and members at newbies or people that for no apparent reason just irritated them. It was highly unprofessional. While i have zero problems with a verbal or typed altercation here and there, It was blatant and quite frankly ruined the experience. I can see that everything i posted that would happen should those things go unchecked, happened. I dunno the whole story and I am not here to judge or join sides. Just reading the terrain, and where i am coming from. So i thought i might give the forums a new start. In my absence i have expanded my HK collection/knowledge. Did a few armorers courses. Quite frankly spent more money on training and bullets that id rather not even try to tally that total. Got pretty big plans for myself this year in the firearms world so figured i might drop by, say hello, and see what is going on the interwebs, with my still favorite gun company and other people that enjoy them.

-Kind Regards

I remember you (y) . So glad you found our little piece of the web. Make yourself at home - we welcome you.

You can never spend too much on training! It helps to know how to properly use these fancy guns we have :)

Just a sample of one of my HK's that got early retirement. Don't worry, the wife replaced it with another HK45 because she really enjoys shooting it as well.

Remember you well--- welcome to the site--- I am glad that you found us. :giggle:
Excellent sidearm and case. ;)

I remember you as well. Welcome to the site!!! I think you'll find a whole different experience here. These guys do great work...not much bickering or b$tching, and some very good content.

Cheers!!!!!

really beautiful gun and case (y)............when I retired from the Army after 20 years in 1995 I found a very nice ITHACA M1911A1, more nicer then what I was ever issued 😆 at a gun show. ah heck, might as well get it as a memento. then I built a case using a 8x10 wooden frame, some poplar and hinged the frame to the case :)

it sits on my roll-top desk in my den...........or what I like to call it my War Room :D

Very nice :) I have one that looks just like that, was made in 1917, last order to the US Marines. Except mine is not an A1, one of the last 1911 before the A1 was produced. Quite honestly everyone should have one.
