IIRC The 357 SIG USP Compacts where 111-
No Other Info..
Makes me wonder, Which Caliber?? 9mm, 40, 357, 45??

Found it.. 29- = 45 USP Compact
What is interesting is 357 SIG Could be 28- or 111-

Here's where I found the info
HK Serial Number Prefix

Was hoping for a 28- USPC357
Oh Well!!
But I do have a small amount of 45acp ammo
It's 137 miles away one way..

I have found some great firearms @ Cash America Pawn
Searched for GMBH
https://search.cashamerica.com/#/search/GMBH

Found a Peavey Sanpera II MkII Control Pedal for $127.20
This is a controller for a Peavey Vypyr Tube 60 We Have
Totally worthless without the Vypyr Amp
I will score it Monday for Christmas for my Son David..
Might put it on Lay-A-Way
Costs $229 New SO?? $115 should snag it..
Just up the street from here too!! YEAH!!
Great Toy with a Looper, Wha, Volume etc etc

USPc prefixes: :)

9mm (27-XXXXXX)
.357 (111-XXXXXX)
.40 (26-XXXXXX)
.45 (29-XXXXXX)

Do not recall a .357 with a 28- prefix--- I have seen 111-000001 through 111-003154. ;)

I was thinking that the 357 SIG I once had was a 111- serial
BUT it looks like maybe there are 28- early ones too???

I was dreaming that the $599 USP Compact was a 357 SIG = That it was a 28-
Wouldn't mind a 45C either but they are common
I saw a $500 Glock 19X & it was talking to me..
Must resist.. My H&Ks & S&Ws will have to do..

Parker Fly Project is coming along..
Needs two little bitty bearings now
