SLB 2000+ Ejection problem

Hello everyone,

Have any of you experienced ejection problems with the SLB 2000+ chambered in .308 Win?

During recent testing with Geco Express .308 ammunition I fired 9 rounds. On one or two occasions the spent cartridge failed to eject and remained in the ejection port. The next live round then struck the retained case, causing a collision and a subsequent jam.

Details:

• Rifle: SLB 2000+ (.308 Win)
• Ammunition: Geco Express .308 Win
• Test fire: 9 rounds fired, 1–2 failures to eject
• Symptom: Spent case remains in ejection port; next full cartridge impacts it and weapon jams

Has anyone seen this behaviour before or can suggest likely causes / troubleshooting steps (e.g., extractor, ejector, gas system, headspace, ammo lot variation)? Any recommendations for tests or fixes would be appreciated.

I have had that problem with 147gr Armscor ammo once. Granted, it was way below freezing and maybe the lube was a little too thick.
