I think long term the SP5L will be highly prized. No stamp, versatile and fun.

You’re right though! Chop the barrel and it’s an SP5.
put a stock and forearm it’s a 93.
leave it alone and it’s just plain “fugly”! (No disrespect to the buyer).
that thin super long barrel does not make it appealing to me at all.
it looks out of place on it.
Don’t get me wrong, for the right price I would consider it…. But I would not be able to leave it unmolested!
maybe chop the barrel and SD it? I would have to do something with it!!!

FYI: I’m the guy that threaded his USC barrel….. right over the HK Logo…. i kick myself every time I look at it, so take me with a grain of salt!

Oh for sure, first thing I did was jump through the hoops and put on the A2. The 3 lug at the end is a problem too. Would have just liked to be able to slide on an E&L shroud. My $1149 MKE did that at least (as seen below)
