I had one of these a long while back & sold it like a fool
Anyhow I came across it at the local pawn & noticed rust around the grip edges & asked to remove the grip
I got it really cheap & knew I could get it up & running
Bought this instead of the Hk USP Compact 357 SIG Barrel :D

This is a leather P2000sk Holster that came yesterday, 👆 Works 100% for the Snub Nose J Frame Sized Revolver 👍
Haven't even tried the P2000sk in it yet as I had the Taurus apart on my work bench
Only the rust remains around the upper grip areas edge
Made in 12/93 Pachmayr Grips

Still has that 1mm area around the top of each grip panel that shows some
Those Pachmayr grips are almost impossible to find now days, but I did find a NEW one marked as something else on eBay for $20 👈😁
Though about making a tiny chisel from copper & trying my hand @ scraping the rust some there? OR Leave it be..
Might experiment on the old grips after the new ones come to make it ride a little higher by cutting the two circles & flats back a few millimeters
The grips it wears now are brittle & cracked = Think 30 Year Old Dry Rotted Tire
I will hydate them some with Armour All Interior before Installing the New Ones

New grip Found on eBay just going thru Pachmayr Grips 👇 NOTE: Taurus/C

A few more Photos I Shared @ TaurusArmed.Net about the Teardown & Rebuild
Thinking about some Wolff Springs for it too, They are old 12/93
Ejector Rod Assembly Taurus 85CH.jpg
I use an old drill chuck on ejector rods & small piece of blue tape around the rod = No Scratches & Firm Hold 👆
Put snap caps or fired cases in the cylinder to protect the ejector star & it's pins from bending
NOTE: Tool made from a 357 Case that's flared & sharpened on the inside, drilled for a screw to fit inside & fit on an old cleaning rod in a tap handle
It cleans cylinders really nice, really sweet for removing that step in a 357 magnum after shooting 38 Specials, Gets all the way in there
Wheeler Screwdriver Kit for exact fit on screws as not to "screw" them up
Armour All Pachmayr Grip Taurus 85CH.jpg
I Think this Grip has shrunk over time some & that's why the rust shows at the edges 👆 It's Hard as a Rock Too...

After Cleanup with a fitting Old Timer Pocket Knife = "OLD SCHOOL"

I like your knife too, but I think you need some new brushes.
;) :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yeah, the brass brushed need to be replaced with new ones SOON! Yeah Right...
This Taurus is currently my only revolver
Not Rated for +P but all I have are some 135gr +P Gold Dots
Need to go thru my stash & find the Bianchi Speed Strips & HKS 36 Speed Loaders
