The new build was going well until....

The flat rolled perfectly, got the old receiver sections cut off the trunnion and cocking tub, got things fitted up and when I was getting the welder out....THUD.....a tool box I had moved into my shop for temperatures storage fell and cracked me in the head. Needless to say I wasn’t in any shape to keep working....hope to get back on it tomorrow night....

Yes the tool box is fins and my head/neck are killing me.

I was sick to my stomach due to seeing so much of my own blood and it not being inside my body lol

Excessive tiredness...hell I’ve been in trouble for years then. But in all seriousness I think I’ll be ok, I’m gonna go to work today but not over do it. If things don’t feel right I’ll go get checked out.

What sucks is I was really kicking ass on that build too....well time for a “tactical pause” huh? Lol

I was worried more of a possible mil concussion, just watch for symptoms and know if they appear, you may need a visit to the ER.
I think and I pray that will be fine. It was obviously a hard hit, and the head is not where you want to get hit.

Update today-got up at 4 and started at my full time job on time at 5. Still upright but got a whopper of a headache.....wonder why.

Still feeling a little loopy but that’s passing and after I ate something my stomach settled. Think I’m ready to find my bottle of excedrine migraine in my toolbox here at work.....and yes this one is on the floor..fu@@er can’t fall on me LOL

Checking in today...feeling better as far as the wound healing. Still got a headache/neck ache but I still have a knot on the top of my head.

I called my deputy buddies to file assault charges on my tool box but they said it would most likely a civil dispute over wages so I’m on my own lol

Hope to get back in the shop next Monday so I can start welding up that receiver and get the ball rolling on the build.
