So Yuengling entered into a brewing partnership with a brewery here in Fort Worth. I bought a six-pack yesterday.
It's just not the same. It's close but different. I buy PA Yuengling when I go to Kentucky for work.

Like Newcastle Brown brewed in Chicago or Guinness brewed in Canada...it's just wrong.

I want to go to the Guinness brewery some day, the one in Ireland.
 
all American beers taste like piss water, metaphorical speaking............ I haven't bought Amercian beer in the past 40 years, not since I completed my second tour of Germany and tasted what German and Belgium beers are like.

I wouldn't use Budweiser to kill weeds but you're doing yourself a great disservice if you haven't sampled what the US has to offer in the beer department.

Like the Belgian stuff? there's a brewery in a little town north of San Antonio that makes a fantastic Tripel...and it's 8.1% abv.
It's called Devil's Backbone by the RealAle Brewing Company.

Then there's Dead Guy Ale and Obsidian Stout out of Oregon.
Deschute's makes a great Porter too!

You should go to Ybor....in South Tampa, where it's brewed. It's the shiznit. ;)

I'm just the opposite. Cant drink liquor any more.
Can only drink three, maybe four beers, then I start to get a headache.
Gettin' old sucks.
 
Nice man, i just cant afford the gulten and calories anymore. Also drinking enough beer to get a buzz is way to filling for my frame 230
 
yeah, I don't drink to get a "buzz" or drunk, I did that nonsense when I was in my 20s.......some 40+ years ago. now just I drink, actually sip, on social occasion and to enjoy the company around me or to unwind

Tastes good, gets a great buzz on, gives you epically flavorful farts and keeps you very, very regular - usually in the middle of the night when you forgot where the johnnie was.

Let's get to the real good stuff. My personal choice on great occasions, comes in a mason jar, clear as water, has a great taste.....but you can only have a
couple of sips.....then stop for 30 minutes, and see how you feel. Best part......you'll never have a hangover. Can't explain it.

Used to go to an "Octoberfest" every year in a little town north of San Antonio when I lived down there.
Plain Spaten and that Optimator were my favorites.

Yuengling I've seen is also made in Florida now. Guiness in Ireland vs Canada...Its not the same lol I agree... Victory Brewing Company and Weyerbacher are hands down the Best PA has to offer. Give them a go if you run across them. 🍻
Victory's - Dirt Wolf is Excellent.
 
White Lightning , We have some stuff around here called Blueberry Blackout, or Blueberry lights out. Its great, tastes a little like blueberrys but its 120 proof.
