    USPc conversions

Photo with the new holster I picked up. I like the 30 degree 'FBI' cant. Makes it a tad more concealable and snag resistant. The new flush base plate does really well in that regard as well. And still digging the grip tape I put on.

    Picked up a Sig P250

I wished they stayed that bright longer, but for less than $15 it works well enough. When your eyes are adjusted to the darkness you can still pick up the sights hours later but they are still pretty dim. But yeah, initially they are like 5X brighter than tritium sights. Very similar to HK's...

    Picked up a Sig P250

Received word back from Sig. My P250 was made Feb 3, 2009. I also inquired if they still had the X-change kits available for the P250. They do not. I didn't think they would but figured it was worth asking. So I'll continue to look around for a deal on a kit to make it into a 45acp. Also...

    Glock

Picked up a Glock 45 blue label on Thursday. Ran it in an Outlaw match a couple of hours later. As expected, it ran flawlessly. Think I like it better than my 19X's and I really like the 19X's!

    Picked up a Sig P250

I found out that Trijicon will relamp night sights for $19 per vial. However, they only relamp their sights. I called Sig and found out they use Meprolite. I found a video on how to relamp the sights yourself but it looks too involved to be worth the effort. Sig and a few other...

    USPc vs. P2000

The grip tape has been working out very well. My son and I have an Outlaw match tomorrow evening. Debating on whether I want to shoot the USPc or the Glock 19X. I've shot the USPc in competition before but not the 19X. But it would be a good chance to test out the grip tape and new flush...

    Picked up a Sig P250

Thank you. I really enjoyed that P250 I had in 45acp. Would have made an excellent woods/camping pistol. Should have hung on to it. Interesting story on it though; I had a Hi Point 4095TS that I bought new for $267 years back. Very good PCC and I enjoyed it. Got into a BST kick and traded...

    Flush mag base plate

Arrived in the mail today. Easy switch (love HK base plates!) Still provides a solid 3-finger grip and lessens the chance to snag on clothing. :) Yay me ;)

    Picked up a Sig P250

I posted this in the 'New gun' thread but wanted to include it in the Sig thread as well. Picked up a Sig P250 in 40S&W with an FDE X-carry grip module. Has night sights but they are dimming. You can still pick them up in the dark but definitely towards the end of their life. Also came...

    Flush mag base plate

It did take a bit of googlefu. Mostly they were around $7 but I found them HERE. Only ordered one as I figured that would go on the mag in the pistol. The spares are fine as-is. Ordered last night and it's already shipped so happy with the service so far.

    Flush mag base plate

All my HK mags have the pinky extension. I noticed that this occasionally catches on my shirt when pulling it up to practice drawing from my OWB holster. Decided to try the flush (standard) base plate. Found one for $3 so I ordered it. I'm thinking this should be a bit better for drawing...

    Grip tape

Well it's been a couple of days and I'm just digging the feel of the new grip. Just something about it. As such, I've been carrying it and thoroughly enjoying it :)

    USPc vs. P2000

So I decided to put a Talon-style grip tape on the grip of my USPc40. Really feels good, to the point that I think the USPc has won over the P2000 for me. Really like the feel/look of the pistol and think I'm going to carry it tomorrow in place of the Sig P365. Amazing how just a little tweak...

    Grip tape

Received the grip tape in the mail this afternoon. Simple matter to clean the grip up with the included alcohol pad then apply the grip and use a hair dryer to press it all in. I like it! I got the rubberized one and it gives me a firm yet comfortable grip. Very impressed the the few bucks it...

    This one’s a real crime

Compared to what I've seen people do to Glocks that's a gem, lol. Yeah, it's amazing what folks do to guns to 'customize' them. Gets to the point of the ridiculous pretty quickly. I had a couple of items up on a local BST site and a guy contacts me wanting to trade his 'custom' Glock 43X...

    Grip tape

Been comparing my P2000 and USPc. I really like both and it's hard to pick a favorite between the two of them. The USPc is a tad smaller in some of the dimensions, the P2000 is a tad lighter. The P2000 feels amazing in the hand. Not that the USPc feels bad, just not as good. But it did...

    VP9 durability/round count

Chatting about the VP9 on GT and the question came up on the long term durability of the VP9. I did some googlefu and saw one with a 28k round count. I'm sure there are others as well. Seems like it would be ever bit as good as other modern poly striker-fired pistols. Especially considering...

    Glock

I don't doubt it. That would have a little bark and bite to it. In regards to the 19X, there have been rumors off and on about it being discontinued. Another rumor surfaced a few months ago so I decided to call Glock directly... So I'm glad I have the three that I have. Not expecting it to...

    V2 Safety Lever & Concealed Magazine USP40c

It does work very well. I like the one that is 5mg and time-released. Non-addictive and can really help with falling and staying asleep. Can cause vivid dreams. I use to use it occasionally when I was working. It would really suck staying awake all night when you were facing a 12-hours...
