Does anyone know when the first pictogram burst trigger packs were made? The first time I ever saw one was at the Crossroads of West Gun Show in the summer of 1991. I clearly remember the dealer there had a table full of HK SEF trigger packs with F/A bolt carriers as a kit, but he then pulled a 4-pos burst pack out from under the table to show me; 'said it was rare as hen's teeth and just came available. I remember the HK booth at the old Soldier of Fortune Convention in 1987 at the Las Vegas Sahara Hotel/Casino, but I don't recall seeing any of the 'toys' there sporting burst trigger packs, albeit I picked up a nice HK date code HK91 there for $500.

As with most parts, HK likes to put date codes it seems on everything. Curious as to what date these burst selectors are...JB, JC, & IR

If I recall correctly. the 4-position trigger pack was created with the introduction of the MP5-N (initially, 0-1-3-7, later replaced with 0-1-7) in 1986. :unsure:
JB=1991, JC=1992, and IR=1993. ;)
