FOOD What's For Dinner

I drank water, as with most meals. No more Coke products in our home. Don't wanna appear "privileged".

No. I've drank Dr. Pepper since I was a small child. I've had 2 bottles of RC. LOL
I dumped the Coke down the sink, today.

Unfortunately, I'm a soda pop junky. I'm smart enough to understand what it can do to your body - so my consumption is very measured.

Rock n' Rye anyone? Towne Club Soda?
 
Faygo Rock and Rye is great. It was better in the old days.....like everything else. Everything is garbage, compared to the 70-80's.
 
Anybody remember how good fries were, when they were cooked in lard?? When I was a kid at BK, I used to have to change that stuff. Messy, but yummy. Their food was actually awesome, back then. Now, all fast-food tastes like....well, it doesn't have taste.
 
Before fast-food, and at home......all burgers were made from smashed balls of meat. Wow....us old guys were so cool for the last hundred years. ;)

Fortunately for me I won the culinary lottery when I married. My wife is a cast iron zealot in the kitchen and is well know in our lille town as being a excellent baker. Plus she knows the true meaning of "medium rare".
