I was never a big fan of this neutered c93 clone… until I added this hand guard from @jdowney.

Now I want to figure out how to add a steel trigger frame and wood stock to complete the look.

^^^ Just keep a watch on GB for 53/93 steel SEF grip frames, I got really lucky when I found mine. A member here saw one for sale and sent me a link.

I wouldn't wait too long to grab one of these wood buttstocks if you're serious though.

ETA: Remember that you'll also need to replace your selector lever when you find the steel grip frame.

Excellent--- the additions would give it that "Sturmgewehr" look. ;)

I seem to remember reading somewhere that you can cut/shorten the "tail" of a G3/PTR steel SEF lower and it will fit a 93.
Am I remembering that correctly?
You'd still need to get the front modded for the denial shelf.

ETA: It's called a "tang". Learn something new every day around here!

I dont mean to cut it off completely. Here's a picture of the grip frame from my 91 on my C93...

Compare the two. See what I mean? I'm sure I read somewhere about this mod. Mebbe I'm wrong but it looks like it would work.

Thanks for the picture, and I can see what you mean.

I'm going to do some research, and see what people have done in the past.

I bet I can do some dremel amputation and get pretty close to that.

Added a wood stock per the suggestions here. Hopefully the metal trigger frame will arrive this week, so I can modify it next weekend and finish this project.

The wood and steel trifecta--- excellent. ;)
