Crazy I‘ve missed this thread. Awesome pics, keep ‘em coming! The 433 looks freaking sweet! Makes me want one, but the holy grail release from HK is a civvie MP7 (SP7?)

Could this be part of an announcement? I was looking for HK433/437 patent images, and HK has registered and copyrighted HK231 as a trademark with EU and North American patent offices. The 231 was supposed to be the 7.62mm NATO/.308 Win version of the 433.

Likely--- but we will probably never see a civilian version. ;)
Unless it imported as a pistol maybe--- and that is iffy now. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Some 433 from Milipol, with some photos reoriented so details can be better seen.

Thanks for sharing. This looks so good and would be awesome as a modern PCC!

Wow. That 4th pic really shows how compact this rifle is.

It’s a crime against freedom the fact that we’ll never be allowed to own that version (or a semi auto version).

At best we MIGHT get a USC/SL8 type variant.
Most of the photos are of the 11" compact carbine variant. The 437 is even shorter, given that it has 7" and 9" in barrels. In the top photo, you have (from front to back), 16.5" standard rifle, 14.5" carbine, and 11" compact.

Kinda reminds me of the ACR and the Beretta ARX-160 thing.
That comparison has been made from day one, especially the earliest variants. In truth, it's more HK's answer to the FN SCAR, and shares more similarities with it than the ACR. Namely gas system (tappet piston instead of the G36 type short stroke piston, the tappet piston also being similar to what HK uses in the MP7) and construction (upper is extruded aluminum, though obviously with more machining than the SCAR has). I believe that the ACR's upper is forged and it (ironically) uses a modified G36-type gas system. The FB Radom MSBS Grot is much more similar to the ACR than the 433/437 (and whatever other variants HK has planned, such as they did patent the designation 231 the same day as 437 in July of this year, the 231, last I heard of it, was supposed to be the 433 scaled up to 7.62mm NATO) ended up being.

Something that should be noted about the photos I posted the other day: note that the uppers and lowers share the same serial number. I wonder what that indicates from a manufacturing/caliber conversion POV?
