HK's last hunting rifle... the SLB 2000

A couple years ago I bought an slb 2000 30 06 carbine new in the box. I scoped it up and was going to use it this year hunting whitetails. Should I shoot it or leave it unfired. Does anyone have a value on it . I bought it because I had never seen one and like the looks of it.thanks for the help

Leave it unfired--- not many have sold within the past year--- in that condition, I would estimate $1,500.00-$2,000.00.

Thanks for the info, I was thinking the same on the value. I've done some research on it . But there's not alot of info out there. I'll probably leave it in the safe.i was thinking of trading it. its a little beefy for my liking but most well made weapons are

I very well might track a used one down in Europe and see the process needed to import it to the US.
