Haven't been to the shoot in a while now either = At Least 5+ Years.. I last went with my Ole Buddy Mean Marcus

I always go on the Friday Morning to avoid traffic walking + get 1st dibs on the parts at the Gunshow

9am - 9pm October 8th & 9th
I'll be there unless I'm dead..
20 Minute ride from here

This news sucks! That range is so badass, I really hope they figure out some way to keep it going.
I shot my first G36 and Glock 18 there.. really fun times. And the PKM... what a vicious shooting gun that is.
I will try and make it out too. I dont think I could stand missing it, especially the night shoot one last time. 👍🏻

yeah "end of a era" I guess.........when I retired from the Army, in 95, all I kept hearing ,"man, you got to get to Knob creek it's awesome" and folks went on and on about irt.......OK, I took the advice and drove from Cleveland down there.....man, it was a complete waste of time and gas money and way, way over hyped.... first off the firing line was small and there was only very few targets, a few washing machines a car. but everyone seemed to hoot and holler any time a machine gun went for a long burst..........I'm like, "is this what all the hype is about?".

well at least there was a glorified gun show to go to........and I stopped by Ft. Knox to go to the Armor Museum, boy they really expanded that and added more exhibits then I was there in 75 when I was at basic training............ that was more interesting to me then seeing a bunch of hill jacks get all excited over watching some guys shoot MGs.

BULLETFEST, which was a shoot conducted every year n Minerva, Ohio, puts Knob Creek to shame. the firing line was loonoong, targets cars, boats and everything else were numerous, and everybody was invited to set up on the firing line, not just those "special people who could afford to own MG"........but anybody with semi autos were welcomed, you just paid to get on line. now that was a fun and great shoot when you could participate in, and not watch from the peanut gallery hooting and hollering while everyone had fun shooting

I wouldn't drive to Ohio for a shoot so maybe I can feel you..
The KCR Shoot was getting bigger & better every year..

This news broke at the beginning of the month and I’m still upset over it. It’s not just the shooting (I’m a SubGun Match RO and competitor) it’s more the people I’ll miss as I only see some of these people 2-3 times a year. I’ll also miss the show as you can’t go anywhere anymore to find parts and such for machine guns like that. The internet is a gouge fest anymore plus many people don’t know what they have.

Time marches on I guess.....

I suppose..
Haven't talked to Kenny or Junior in several years now..
They are good folks for sure..
Need to ride over to Louisville sometime soon & might find time to touch base with some old friends there

The gun shop and range will stay open they’re just not going to be having a machine gun shoot anymore
