V1 > V2. ;)

Tony

Yeah I converted the one to V2 for left hand use but it's cumbersome in my right hand but I hardly ever use the safety except with the holster above because it's molded for V1 with the safety engaged.. Fits really nice BTW..

I sold my Gold Cup, Python & Detective Special years back BUT all those sales allowed me to buy the home I'm in now & Retired @ 49, 6 1/2 Years Ago!!

Got this beautiful Series 70 Gold Cup when I was only 17 years old back in 1979.
That is very Sweet!!
BTW I did notice the IDIOT Scratch that almost every 1911 has..
If you ever wanna get your money back on it LMK = $314.55 🤣

Slow day here, so time for a little more Colt porn.
‘77 Python .357 Mag and ‘75 Detective Special .32 Colt New Police both in Royal Blue
Those are Very nice Too!!
The Python is too sweet to carry, BUT would pocket carry the DS..
Royal w/ Cheese, They're Bluing is fantastic.. I still remember.. Kind Of?

Yeah, I so remember putting that scratch on there too... I believe it was the same night after I brought it home from the dealer. Ugh.
Most 1911's were purchased to shoot, and before all the retentiveness of our current state of the hobby.

Great, on both counts. They haven't been selling these for months. I should have bought a couple more. I wasn't going for the Redback model [too much $$ for me]. I shoot as well as I do [SA/DA or SA], and as a rule....the firearm rarely changes that. I'm not a target shooter. I shoot as I'd use the firearm.
