That came out real nice, I like it!

I'm going to spray paint mine gold and see how it looks , I gotta put some finish on it while it waits. Will probably be awhile till I file the form 1 and get it engraved, I'll bead blast it off before then.

I wonder how the KG compares to the burnt bronze Moly Resin....

I have used both Gun Kote and molly resin. They are both great products. They both have molly in them also I believe. Here is another picture not in the direct sunlight

Great work.
Assuming you didn't really use the hacksaw - how'd you manage to cut the receiver so cleanly?
I've had problems just cutting the flat bending guide tabs off perfectly.

4" grinder with a cutoff wheel, dermal with a cutoff wheel and a hacksaw. Then about 4 hours with files fitting. This is a hobby for me, I never get in a hurry.
