Music What Are You Listening To?

IIRC That's Pride & Glory, Zakk used a couple guys from White Lion, Later Black Label Society..

What's really Crazy a buddy of mine Steve Osborne from high school tried out for Ozzy after Randy passed & He used Brad Gillis , Then Jake E. Lee & was searching for a great guitarist, My Bud Steve O sent his demo tape to Sharron Osbourne which He got a reply & within weeks Zakk Wilde was Ozzy's new guitarist..
My Ole Bud Steve took his life after two stents with cancer with a Glock 23.. He called & asked if I could make the trigger better on that damn thing about two weeks before.. I told him well yeah, I have a connector for the glock right here & would trade the install for a few lessons for my youngest Son David..
Steve O did some Christian music with his then band Bride, He was an absolute master guitarist & was also a Nurse @ a local hospital..
He is very missed.. They have a drawing of him @ Maxwell's House of Music in the back, I always walk back to the rehearsal rooms & gaze @ That Picture that a friend of his Angel drew after his death & was auctioned off..
I watched a video of him a few weeks ago where he was in the studio with Bride making an album & was helping his old brothers out.. RIP Steve O

Thanks ENDER
Nice New Avatar!!
Randy drones 16th Notes in this tune but what makes it LOOM is that He leaves out the 2nd note the 1st time he plays it & the 5th the 2nd time
It gives it what I call a Loom, It's amazing picking skill that I could only recreate by muting the 2nd & 5th notes with my palm..
I can hardly even play any more but really appreciate the skill needed to play like that.. RIP Randy..
Lets Rock!!

No offense to anyone who has posted to this thread but I’m not into anything that’s been mentioned so far, I’m as county as a bowl of grits, and love the county classics!

Most of the time while I'm driving I actually I listen to classical music, so I don't Flip the F*ck Out. People in Central Oregon drive like tourists because most of them are tourists

Dave, you must be north of 69 ;)

Here in the Motor City, as long as everyone knows what the passing lane is for, no need to flip out. Now it's a different story when you have to roll your window down and explain to the teeny bopper girl driver what the zipper method is. :cautious:

I work weekends. T/W/Th mornings I stream WFMU. They're a station out of Jersey City, NJ. Great music, Wake and Bake with Clay Pigeon.
I also stream FIP radio out of Paris.

I like old vinyl (and I'm stuck in the 80's). Just finished listening to an old IRS records compilation. Heading out to Lowe's now.

Really like old country. Anything after about 1980 is shit IMHO. But you know what they say about opinions.

Ann and Nancy at the gym
Liberal fruitcakes. We did a meet-greet with them at Pine-Knob.[yeah, I'm old] When they entered the meet area, there was incense everywhere and hired-help ringing chimes and gongs to announce their arrival. There was all kinds of weird tokens on the table they sat at. They acted like they were some kinda royalty. LOL. My wife had to keep me in line and not laughing.

Now that I re-read what I wrote - I meant interstate 69. Not sure how you took it.
Yes I am north of Interstate 69! I guess I thought you meant I-69 with a wink, which I’m not sure how to make, but I took it as I thought I read it.

Yeah, I wasn't calling you old. 🙃

Click on the smiley face in the post tool bar.

Here's some old country that I remember as a child while riding in the car
We only had one 8 track tape of Waylon & Willie
My Father loved them both..
