Here are my two 308 toys, both JLD heave barrels, one 16' and one 18''. Shorter one dress in MSG90 gear and longer set up with PSG1 buttstock and a Williams WSG1 with HK PSG1 grip. Picked up PSG1 trigger pack and metal housing, will be removing the Williams and installing a PSG! forearm. Will post when I get it back.

Good looking rifles that probably shoot very well. I'm disappointed in the thread title, being as there are no HK91's in the thread.

Yeah, you're right. Sorry.
You going to sell that WTS trigger?
Sorry no, not for sale. I'm in the process of gathering parts to do a 33SG1 build and will be using the williams set for that. I just recently picked up a PSG1 group and will be switching things around this spring.

Sold them. It's been an always changing collection. The hunt, was/is always more fun than owning them.

Those are some seriously clean HK91 builds. The MSG90 setup on the 16” barrel looks especially sharp, and the PSG1-style furniture on the longer rifle gives it that classic precision rifle vibe. Sounds like the upcoming trigger pack and forearm swap will really complete the project. I’ve always liked seeing how people personalize these platforms without losing the original HK character. A solid optic setup makes a huge difference too — I’ve spent a lot of time comparing different Vortex riflescopes for similar .308 builds because they balance durability and clarity really well for range work.

Keep in mind very close eye relief (2 inches) is necessary in your scope. Most scopes are unusable with the normal 4".

Using an original factory scope and mount will give proper results. Other than that a picrail setup with a short scope will be necessary.
