Got around to cleaning some MP5 Mags this weekend as I have a shoot this Tuesday evening with some friends. I no kidding thought I had around 10-15 mags but after I started taking off the 'layers' of other gun parts/accessories on a seldom-used workbench, I was shocked beyond belief to find more and more mags; the funny thing is I haven't even started looking at the two shelves below the bench. I cleaned every one of these mags inside and out (got the disassembly thing figured out to mere seconds). I'm now convinced that with my recent purchase of 5 of those RAL8000 mags the other day off HK WebShop is proof that I need my head examined... And I can see a Beta Mag and a 75-Rnd Drum down on one of the shelves and I need to check all the pockets on my gun cases yet... SMH

The only issue I see is plenty more room on that table to add more mags. Mags are good, mags are your friend. But since you mentioned it, admitting there is an issue is the first step. Now that you’ve done that, there is no more issue! Carry on.

According to HK, the weight of an unloaded 30 rounder is 5.997oz (170g). You'll know you've reached an acceptable level when, just like with money, it's too much to count and you count by measuring the net weight of it all. LOL

I count about 47 or so mags not bad me I need mag anonymous I have serious issues with magazines I blame the Democrats for the 1994 AWB left me with gun PTSD when standard AR15 mags went for $100 a pop! I have atleast 100 or more AR15 mags my HK91 I have good God 200 mags ? Pistol mags good grief at least 50 per pistol ? I normally try to have 50 mags once I reach that goal I will concentrate on other guns then find good deals and add to everything it's really bad my wife just looks away anyway your ok me it's been hard but I have been trying to back off buying mags it kills me to see great mag deals anyway I am only buying HK93 mags unbelieveable but I only got like 16 mags or so I want about 25 x 30rnd mags hopefully I can reach that goal .
