Found this at the post museum today and thought it was interesting.

I picked this up awhile ago and now I’m wondering is it factory nickel or was it done by a previous owner?

That’s the type of find and project I really like to work on. Nothing like taking an ugly duckling and turning it into a swan.

Sarco had some on their tables at the last knob creek this past October for like $100.00.

Where did the wooden pistol grip come from ? It gives it that stg44 look.

Not a cetme, but purposely build to have everyone on the firing line saying “what is that”.

That is a very nice looking set up you have. With all that you’ve done to it, I hope it runs like a sewing machine.

When I did my cetme c&p on a surplus original ,I used two modified wood screws as the pins. They are held in place with some jb weld.
