Bought two West German P226's off GB, one was a "gunsmith special" where seller omitted that the barrel was bulged and the pistol couldn't be disassembled. Rather than be stuck with a paperweight, I drilled the barrel pretty thin and bashed the slide back with some brass bar stock.

Would love to get some holster recommendations.

Just hit BIN on a thoroughly used West German P226 for a cool $500. Frame is in good shape. Will convert from DAO to DA/SA and drop in the short-reach trigger kit. GB pics as a supplement until I get it from my FFL.
