FOOD What's For Dinner

I hope you have a family!! We don't cook very much, as it mostly goes outside to the critters after we eat. I don't eat leftovers.....or meat with bones, mushrooms, most pork, etc etc.

Simple Sunday. After getting off work, wanted quick and easy. So checked the fridge.
Beer ✅
Brats from the local butcher shop on the Blackstone✅
Giardiniera and Sweet Hot mustard. ✅
Tri color slaw ✅ Beans in the pantry. ✅

Stop it already 🤪 Snow's almost gone - I'm gonna get one. Still don't regret not getting the 4 burner?

To date, zero regrets. The 28” is suiting our needs and then some, but it’s just the three of us so far. I have no doubt I could cook easily for 10+ on it. I definitely see the benefit and allure of the 36” but I’d just end up cooking on the center two and probably use the outer two as warming zones. Don’t really need that. If I was consistently entertaining larger groups I’d get the 36” without question but for now I don’t need the real estate, have yet to feel crowded on it even when doing the stir fry.

@HK12Step Did enough comparison - just pulled the trigger. I went with the ACE Hardware Exclusive 4 burner. It's not as fancy as your ProSeries, but it does have what I wanted. It has the 4 burners, the attached lid, side shelves that fold down and the all important bottle opener. I also joined their rewards club for 10% off. I'll pick it up later today. YAY 🔪🔪🔪

Your wife really loves you now, since you have taken over the cooking. ;)

I fixed King crab legs tonight... they were freaking amazing... best I've had in a while. That is a 16" platter... those King crab legs weighed over 1 1/4 lbs each... some of the largest I've ever gotten. Today was the first time I purchased them from Costco and I have to say I liked them much better than the ones from Whole Foods or Harris Teeter.

They are spiders of of sea, Gross...... I know most people love them, but always freaked me out since childhood. My parents made me eat things I never wanted to, why?
