Man, I totally missed that one. Sorry. I will defer to your expertise and send the unmolested tube to you when I ship the kit. I'm going to eFile my Form 1 in the next couple days. All I need is the serial number. Will be easy enough to guesstimate the overall length.

Best I can hope for is a paddle type mag release unless it adds too much to the final build cost. I saw one shop charges $425 for that option. I'm happy to push a button to save four bills

Is it solid or the wrap-around type shelf? Hard to tell from pics.

The wrap around type is pretty easy to figure out the paddle for....

Are you sure? They all wrap around but some have a blocking bar on the inside. I've never seen a PTR that didn't. I could most certainly be wrong. Here are a couple pictures trying to explain. This is a PTR flat. First picture is a wrap around, second picture is one with a blocking bar

My PTR has that bar so I guess it's not a wraparound.

That bar on the inside of the receiver has to be removed to install a paddle mag release. It's a pain in the A$$. Those are the ones that get spendy

PTR does there's exactly how HK did there 91 ,94,93, . they did their by cut a slot in the back of the receiver slide the shelf through then Welding the shelf in. to install a paddle you have to machine out the material.
