Colt M16 A1 and a Fightlite MCR upper receiver are the latest additions to my safe. I got the 12.5 and 16in barrels with the Fightlite. I bought it on a whim and was expecting some break-in teething issues, but I was surprised, the only initial problem was the bolt had a hard time stripping the ammunition from the new M27 links but after I started lubing the links prior to loading the ammunition, it ran like a scolded dog. Never timed it but probably goes 750 rpm unsuppressed and has a crazy ROF suppressed, probably 900 rpm. Anyway, took it to the range today and ran a couple hundred rounds through it and didn’t have any hiccups .

Awesome!! I had a couple Shrike uppers, but we weren't allowed NFA stuff when I had them. It was kinda boring, having belt-fed and semi-auto. LOLView attachment 453View attachment 454
Nice! Yeah, semi auto belt fed would be pretty boring. I got it on a whim and got kind of worried when I read earlier reviews but it’s now in it’s 6th Generation and it appears they have the initial bugs worked out. I’d love to add a HK23 to mix one day but that day is a long way off, or perhaps a MM23 is more realistic.

I've done the boring semi belt fed three times now... yeah I think that itch has been scratched. Shooting full auto belt fed is super fun... until you get the ammo bill at the end of the day... especially with 50bmg... ouch... jk. I don't make enough money these days to be able to afford and feed a full auto belt fed but I am jelly of those that do. Congrats man.

Waiting for payment to clear on a rifle I bought a couple nights ago....... Cobb MCR-200 in .308
Modular design. 1 lower registered- receiver rifle, and everything else could be purchased ala-cart. 4 different size uppers [short ie .556, med ie 308, long ie 30.06, magnum ie338 and such], and multiple magwells. The plan was to make ANY caliber rifle, with one lower receiver. I need to find the G3 magwell.
Bushmaster bought all the Cobb patents, and shelved it.
